Last weekend around a thousand attended the demonstration in Ponsonby, with a heavy police presence at minister Mark Mitchell addressing the crowd.
Today at the Winter Gardens there were significantly fewer, and no police. Perhaps because there wasn’t a government official scheduled to attend, perhaps because some of the heat and immediacy seems to have escaped the Iranian crisis.
