I think they are aware that the algorithm is pretty bad, and they are likely having big battles internally on which direction to take.
100%. X creators are part of a class-system of digital society. Small creators are their to enabler large creators (this tier is where creators make money) who drive narratives for high profile influencers look for power to grab in their perspective fields.
Large creators know this is the game, and they game the system to be in that tier. Most small creators don't realise that they are enabling this. And confused why they are locked in that tier.
God damnit we were promised free speech.Have already realized AI is not perfect starting using at work and now not allowed to use it.Conversations with bots are rather boring they don't know how to wind up some what rather bland.
I have again been suspended from X for being an "Inauthentic Person".
Oddly enough, both of my suspensions happened the day after payment for my X Premium was taken.
The algorithm seems to have a difficulty understanding that humans don't think the same way as AI, and when we don't behave the way they expect us to on X, things like this happen.
If I lose my X account, I haven't got a clue what other platforms I could use: my Facebook author page is quiet, I don't really do the sort of thing that I could put on YouTube, Instagram is for the beautiful people with time on their hands to make pretty images, and TikTok is for youngsters.
I did have a look at Threads and Bluesky....bloody hell, what a mess!
I'm on Substack, and I have just posted my first ever rant....that's probably the kiss of death to my X account, right there.
That sucks Simon, I got pinged and demoted to read only for 6 days on Boxing day. For saying Die Hard was an Xmas movie. 😆😆😆 but it sucked. I appealed but that didn't work. Glad that substack et al exist.
X is turning into Facebook. They need to go back to the algorithm back in July 2024. This is clearly an error.
What do you reckon? Just another nail in their coffin I reckon.
I don't know about you but I find their attitude towards smaller creators, particularly those of us outside the U.S., dismissive.

can still see your account, but was hard to find you. whats their beef my friend?
I have no idea.
This is a problem with automated systems. The robots have decided I've done something wrong but can't (or won't) tell me why.
It is just by the way, the reason I believe traffic lights are inherently immoral: they are dumb machines instructing sentient humans what to do.
Hey Simon, 🌼 just gone onto your account on X and I had no problems finding you. Is it okay with you now or not?
With love 🧡 Debbie..
Good afternoon Debbie,
Nope, I'm locked out. It might take days or even weeks before I have access again.
All the best.
I've had posts on review for months even after several requests, they just leave on suspend until you delete. Nova.
Thanks Nova, good to know

Hi Simon. This sounds very familiar!!!
I can see your account, and can read your posts.

Hey Rhen! Thanks for the overview.
We must resist the robots. Maybe that's a subject we could include during our upcoming conversation.
That sounds like a good idea.

For a moment I thought you were being accused of impersonating a bot,😁.
